Named after Pezenas's most
famous son, the playwright Jean-Baptiste Poquelin Moliere, the Grand
Hotel Moliere is an exclusive 3 stars Languedoc Roussillon hotel with
just 15 rooms, offering you privacy and a peaceful stay. Entirely
refurbished in 2003, the interior is tastefully decorated and reflects
the grand history of this hotel which dates from the late 19th century.
The hotel is also ideally situated in the centre of Pezenas, just
opposite Place Moliere.

The Hotel
Built
in the style of the Haussman era at the end of the 19th century, our
elegant stone building blends classic architecture and Mediterranean
tones in the relaxing interior patio. Entering the lounge of the Grand
Hotel Moliere, you are taken back to an era of splendour, France's
'Grand Siecle', in keeping with the times of Moliere. This former
"hotel particulier" (special hotel), is a landmark in Pezenas and
enjoys a conveniently central location, in the town center, with plenty
of shops & parking available. Each of the rooms are well
appointed with comfortably modern interiors, including; air
conditioning/heating, double glazing (for winter comfort), television,
private phone (suitable for internet use), elevator access and coffee
making facilities.

Pezenas

for its connection with Moliere and performance of his famous 17th
century plays, Pezenas is a wonderful medieval town which is often
referred to as the Versailles of Languedoc. Popular with visitors to
